The US Department of Commerce’s Telecommunications Information and Infrastructure Assistance Program (TIIAP) provided a grant to the Appalachian College Association for a $1.2 million project with eight small private liberal arts colleges in Appalachia. CEATH Company was hired to direct the project.
CEATH provided project management expertise, worked with the individual college liaisons and wrote the final report for the Department of Commerce. The two-year project involved eight different experiments in providing public access to the information superhighway in rural communities in Appalachia.
